SLEEPTALKER
===========

Teach it your mouth drums. Beatbox a whole kit. It sings too.

Installing
----------

1. Copy the SLEEPTALKER.vst3 folder into

       C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3

That is the folder every host looks in. You will need to say yes to the
   Windows permission prompt.

2. Start your DAW and rescan plugins.

3. SLEEPTALKER.exe runs on its own without a DAW if you would rather try it
that way first. Nothing to install for that one, just run it.

Using it
--------

Put it on a track with your microphone going into it.

MELODY mode: hum. Notes come out on MIDI channel 1. Snap to a key with the two
boxes at the top, or set the mode to Chromatic to keep every semitone, or Free
if you want the pitch bend as well.

DRUMS mode: press one of the pads on the right, make that noise about eight
times, press it again to stop. Do the same for the others. Then beatbox. Hits
come out on MIDI channel 10.

Built-in Sound is on, so it makes a noise by itself. Turn it off when you are
sending the MIDI somewhere else. Hear my voice passes your microphone through.

Your training is saved with the session.

If it does not hear you
-----------------------

Turn the gate down. It is the first slider and it is what decides how quiet is
too quiet. For drums, the sensitivity slider is the equivalent.

Windows will warn you
---------------------

It is not signed yet. A code signing certificate costs more than this plugin has
earned so far. Nothing in here phones anywhere or writes outside its own folder.
